When designing, it is crucial to perform usability tests in the early stages of your project with a group of people you are designing for. It helps you validate your (startup) ideas.

In most cases, it is also easier and cheaper to implement your improvements before most of the development work has been done.

How to perform a usability test

In most cases, you perform a usability test by asking a user to complete several scenarios. Examples include asking a user to register or change a particular setting in your app.

It is recommended to do a usability test with two people. One person facilitates the test, while the second is an observer who takes notes.
