With a human-centered mindset, you must consider and involve your users. That means conducting good UX research and spending time validating your ideas. Avoid making design decisions primarily based on personal interests, bias, or technical requirements.

Human-centered design vs user-centered design

Both human-centered and user-centered designs are very similar, with an experience-first mindset. Some even say they're two labels for the same way of working.

If you have to specify a difference, human-centered design works with a broader scope that goes further than only thinking about users inside an app or platform.
